Weekly Bridge Sessions
Our club playing sessions are as follows:
Monday afternoon 12.45 pm to 3.45 pm at the Woodend Community Centre Hall
Tuesday evening 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm at the Woodend Community Centre Hall
Thursday afternoon 12.45 pm to 3.45 pm at the Woodend Tennis Club
Code Red Fire Danger Days
Please note that club playing sessions are cancelled on any Code Red "Catastrophic" day for our Fire Danger Rating District of 'North Central'.
ABF Master Points
Play on Mondays and Tuesdays is awarded master-points. On Tuesday evening we also conduct classes for beginners. Play on Thursday is social, and while the session is scored no master-points are awarded.
We ask all players to be present 15 minutes prior to commencement of card play. In general each pair will play 24 or 25 hands with a 15 minute break about half way through the session for a cup of tea/coffee. The cost is $5 per session ($3 for MRBC member concession card holders) and all visitors are made very welcome.

From Melbourne, take the Calder Freeway, M79. Travel about 70 km from the Bolte Bridge and exit to Woodend on the C792 (1st Woodend exit). In the Woodend township drive to end of the shops and immediately turn left (before the bridge over 5 Mile Creek) into Forest Street, then 1st right into the carpark behind the Woodend Community Centre. Alternatively, take the 2nd Woodend exit off the Calder Freeway, left onto the C324 (the Woodend-Wallen Road - see maps), turn left at High Street (the Calder Highway) and go down the hill and over the 5 Mile Creek bridge. Turn right into Forest Street.
From the north travel along the Calder Freeway and take the 1st Woodend exit after Kyneton and travel along the Avenue of Honour, down the hill, over the 5 Mile Creek bridge and turn right into Forest Street, then right into the car-park. The Tennis Club is at the north-west corner of the car-park. Parking is also available off Forest Street on the left behind the shops.
